College Art Fair 2023

 For the past 3 years Topeka Public Schools has hosted a College Art Fair.  A variety of colleges from around Kansas and Kansas City come together in a central location for our Art students to have the opportunity to talk to colleges, get information, and ask questions.  

This year we had two separate sessions that students could attend, and Topeka High took 110 students between these two sessions to talk to colleges and get information.  The kids left very excited, received great information, and some also saw that college is an option for them, whether right after school or shortly after.  

The best part of the college art fair is that students come away realizing that they have options after high school, and they have options in art.  There are careers and opportunities for them to continue creating and sharing their amazing gifts with us, whether they play an instrument, act on stage, or create something with their hands.
